We are neither retailers nor restaurateurs – our task is to create the ‘House’ in the right location and let our specialist food tenants decorate the ‘Rooms’. Each tenant will design and shop-fit their own space in their own inimitable style, creating colourful arcades of outstanding variety. We salute the art of marker pen prices boldly drawn onto cardboard; chalkboards announcing the catch of the day; trestle tables heaving under the weight of whole cheeses; sacks of pulses and spices evoking aromas only imagined in the pages of a cookery book.
